Candidates should plan to arrive one hour before their ceremony's scheduled start time. Line-up will begin one hour prior to each ceremony's scheduled start time.
All candidates with a commencement ceremony in the Coliseum will enter the Coliseum
at the west tunnel near the building’s electronic sign off of North Texas Blvd. Parking
will be available in the lots next to the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Coliseum (Lot 20). ADA parking will
be available in Lot 27 (at the corner of Maple Street and Highland Street). Parking
is on a first come, first served basis. Normal routes to campus may be altered and
surrounding streets will be congested with event traffic. Expect delays.
If your ceremony is in the Muchison Performing Arts Center, you will park in the same
palce and walk to the Muchison.
There are no ceremony rehearsals. Please give announcers, marshals and staff your complete attention before and during the event to ensure you have all the necessary instructions.
When the ceremony processional begins, ceremony marshals will direct you to your seat. During the ceremony, cheer for your classmates crossing the stage and respect those who come after them. When your turn arrives, marshals will direct you when to rise and go to the stage where your QR code will be scanned to trigger your name announcement. You’ll receive a diploma cover, be congratulated by your dean or college administrator and then exit the stage to have your photo taken by Flash Photography before returning to your seat.
Remain for the duration of your ceremony.

The drop-off point for graduates or guests is on the east side of the Coliseum in the circle drive off Avenue D and can be reached by going east on Eagle Drive, then north on Avenue C, then west on Maple Drive.
A limited number of accessible parking spaces are available near the Murchison Performing Arts Center for guests attending ceremonies in the Murchison Performing Arts Center.
Coliseum doors will open one hour prior to the ceremony start time. Gate A (in the northwest corner) and Gate E (in the southwest corner) on the upper level will be available for guest entrance. Graduates enter through the West Tunnel.

Guests are asked to stay for the duration of the ceremony and to meet their graduate outside the venue at the ceremony's conclusion. Graduates will exit the Coliseum through the South Tunnel.
Guests enter and are seated in the middle and upper seats around the venue and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are not required and seat-saving is not allowed.
