Growing Green
Students chose green as 鲍狈罢鈥檚 color more than a century ago to gain Mother Nature鈥檚 favor. And it鈥檚 long been more than a school color to us. It鈥檚 a sign of our long-running dedication to being environmentally responsible 鈥� from our first research in examining differences in tap water to today's numerous academic programs focused on environmental sustainability to our energy-saving efforts in our eco-friendly buildings. We are and teaching our students to carry on a lifelong commitment to being green.

鲍狈罢鈥檚 , which opened in 2015, is a campus gathering place, built to stringent environmental standards. It will be our sixth LEED-certified building, joining such jewels as 鈥� the first newly constructed collegiate football stadium in the nation to achieve LEED Platinum Certification, the highest level.
